Ongoing maintenance and inspection of spare parts

Regular inspection of the hook makes it easier to detect wear and determine when spare parts need to be replaced. The hook body is open from both sides to facilitate visual inspection of moving parts such as the latch, springs, and dowel pins.

During inspection, sliding surfaces and moving components should be checked for dirt, restricted movement, or signs of wear.
Cleaning with compressed air or water, as well as lubrication with a suitable lubricant or Teflon oil, helps reduce wear and extend the service life of both the hook and spare parts.
