For safe lifting outside the risk zone

The Standard automatic safety hook is an automatic lifting hook designed for safe lifting without personnel in the risk zone. It offers high versatility, used for everything from blasting mats and pipes to pumps, machinery, gas cylinders, bulk bags, and general lifting. With six sizes from 2 to 27 tons, it is easy to choose the right capacity for mobile cranes, overhead cranes, or hoists, regardless of industry or environment.

Automatic locking simplifies hooking

In the open position, the hook tip is horizontal and can easily be inserted into the load’s lifting eye or equivalent lifting device.

During lifting, the hook closes and the automatic safety lock activates, keeping the load securely in place throughout the entire lift. This allows hooking to be performed without personnel needing to be in the risk zone.

Safety latch that remains in place even when the hook is unloaded

The safety lock remains activated on the Standard hook even when unloaded. This allows you to set down the load and make adjustments while maintaining safety. The automatic safety hook is tested for a safety factor of 4:1 by an external party, which reinforces confidence in a working method where you want to release loads remotely and reduce risks during lifting.

Release at approximately 60-degree tilt

For load release, the Standard is designed for controlled disengagement. After lifting, the hook is lowered until it tilts approximately 60 degrees, which triggers the release of the safety lock. The hook then rotates back to its open starting position and is ready for the next lift, contributing to more efficient lifting and shorter cycle times.

Safety lock remains engaged even when unloaded

The safety lock remains engaged on the Standard Hook even when it is unloaded. This allows you to set down the load and make adjustments while maintaining safety. The automatic safety hook is tested and approved by RISE, enhancing safety in workflows where you wish to release loads remotely and reduce the risk zone during lifting.
