Large Hook Opening for Difficult Access
Big C is developed for lifts where connection would otherwise be a time-consuming and risky operation. With a larger hook opening, it becomes easier to insert the lifting eye or link without manual intervention near the load. It is suitable for both mobile and industrial cranes, and also performs well in overhead crane lifts where the connection point requires more space.
Automatic Locking by Load Weight
Hooking is simplified with a special lifting eye, reducing the need for slings or ropes during the actual connection. When the hook is loaded, an automatic safety lock is activated, securing the hook and housing using the load’s weight. You get a lifting hook with automatic locking that provides a stable lifting process and less manual handling at the hook.
Controlled Load Release at Approximately 60-Degree Tilt
Once the lift is complete, the hook is lowered until it tilts approximately 60 degrees. The safety lock is then released, and the hook returns to its open starting position, ready for the next lift. This provides a predictable and safe working method where you can release the load remotely and keep the danger zone clear.
Safety Lock Remains Engaged Even Unloaded
The safety lock remains engaged even when the hook is unloaded. This allows you to set down the load and make adjustments while maintaining safety before disconnecting.
Applications for Big C
The Automatic Safety Hook Big C is used in many types of lifts, from blasting mats and pipes to pumps, machinery, gas cylinders, big bags, and general lifts. It is built to operate in demanding environments where robustness and ease of handling are important.

Safe Lifts with Big C
- Hook On Insert the lifting eye or link into the open hook; the larger hook opening provides more space for connection.
- Lifting When the load is taken up, the hook locks automatically with the safety lock.
- Lower Lower until the hook tilts approximately 60 degrees. The safety lock is then released, and the hook opens.
- Unhooking The hook returns to the open starting position and is ready for the next connection.
